Meet The Founder
Deborah Heurion
Deborah Heurion, the founder and CEO, brings over 40 years of experience within the equine industry to the table and melds this with her certifications in pranic healing and years of intuitive practices. This makes her work uplifting, real, and relational.
Deborah knows that nurturing or healing a relationship with your horse starts first by honoring your Self and digging into your own believed narratives. Only when these are addressed can you find a palpable potency for connection, joy, and progress in your horse experience.

The Journey
I AM a teacher of Horse and a teacher of Spirit.
My grandfather gifted me with my first horse at 10 and by 13 years old, I had a conscious understanding of how connected my spirit, the moving energy within me, was to these incredible creatures. I have always wanted to learn and know everything I could about these horses that I am so attracted to, and passionate about. But not just in the traditional knowing, there was always something that called me to understand them in a deeper, more connected way.
At the age of 17 I left home to accept an apprenticeship to be a riding instructor and horse trainer. Since that time, I have worked with many professional, trainers and instructors, as well as many of the best teachers of all, the horses. I have learned what works and what definitely doesn’t.
It didn’t take me long at all to realize that within this education I was receiving from incredible professionals in this industry, that there was a big piece missing. I was taught to overcome, conquer, be the leader etc. but there was nothing about relationship, connection, or communicating…understanding these beautiful spirit filled animals. I have been taken down the path of seeing this work differently.
Since then, I have lived, loved, and laughed through the last 40+ years of learning with horses and the people who love them. Along with the laughter has been some blood, lots of sweat and buckets of tears. This combination of horses and spirit have enriched , guided, and saved my life metaphorically and physically many times over the years.

They are all, such a gift and a blessing, and I could not do what I do without them.

Meet Carl
My husband Carl and I met in high school during our senior year. Always having a love for airplanes, he became a pilot at 16. I hired him to take my boyfriend at the time, my mom and myself flying. In true Carl fashion, our pilot showed up in a suit and tie. He opened doors for my Mom and I, flashed his blue eyes and that fantastic smile, asked my mom for my phone number, and the rest is history. He has been loving and supporting my passion for horses and people ever since. It’s now been over 42 years and counting.
His spirit of caring and support pours out of his big heart into the lives of the horses and people who are a part of our SpiritEd Adventures community. He is always there when any one here needs anything, two legged or four. If he’s not grooming arenas, mowing fields or fixing stuck gates, you might find him putting cat deterrent fences around bunny nests that my girls here have found.

Meet Sarah
Sarah came to SpiritEd Adventures over two years ago. From the beginning, Sarah had a willingness to heal, grow and learn everything about horses from the ground up.
She has done all of that and more while sharing her loving, open passionate heart by being immersed in what we do here.
She throws 110% of who she is into her work of helping and supporting me, our clients and the horses. I feel so incredibly blessed to have her as a long-term member of our SpiritEd Adventures team.
I am so excited for you to meet her as your life will be enriched.

Meet Rosalie
This beautiful lady is my mama, Rosalie. She has been my greatest friend and mentor my whole entire life! She is my biggest fan and encourages me daily to follow my dreams. She has been and always will be, my greatest teacher.
Her trusting heart and faithful walk in this world continues to inspire me to connect to the Divine Spirit within me and live in Faith.
My Mama always shows up the strong, courageous, faithful woman she truly is. She is always there when anyone in her family needs her.
I aspire to be like her when I grow up!!
